Preventing Subliminal Distraction episodes, mistaken for mental illness, is simple and free.

Mass Shooting
Information Email Text
Every student and every home computer user
should have this information.
Gun control actions by advocates, legislators, or banks would be pointless if they understood the true preventable psychiatric cause of mass shootings.
There is evidence, unrealized in news reports, police
statements, and a picture supplied by The Finnish National Police to show that
mass shooters created the "special circumstances" for the same problem that
caused my wife's 2002 mental break, visual subliminal distraction.
In 2002 my wife had a psychotic break after her
office was changed eliminating Cubicle Level
Protection. I had known of the 'mental break
causing office design problem' since I was a 22 year old engineering student in
1966. But I had never seen it happen before. (1)
Just as in my wife's case
Subliminal Distraction's effects are being mistaken for mental illness.
Connie heard voices and hallucinated guilt for impossible delusional crimes.
As her attempted treatment progressed I discovered that the public, mental health services and research are unaware this problem exists. No one screens for it before diagnosing mental illness.
Since 1968 a multi-billion dollar industry sells cubicles and Systems Furniture to prevent the still-believed-harmless usually temporary, sudden onset panicked episode of confusion, rarely so severe as to cause hallucinations.
Students and home computer users on social media take no precaution for visual subliminal distraction.
Before you dismiss this
information with an eye roll,
send the my site URL to a
major university psychology department
to verify the
basic facts
of the physiology of human sight explained on my site.
You want facts, not opinions.
Everyone with a computer at home or a
child in school
should understand visual subliminal distraction, explained in first semester
psychology.
This known problem in design, but not mental health services, means that mass school shootings are preventable with education about visual subliminal distraction and why the office cubicle was created in 1968.
The problem is that the bizarre feature of the physiology of human sight is so unbelievable that authorities and school officials refuse to investigate that what I am telling them is true.
A physical situation, the design mistake can be replicated, optimized, to safely experience anxiety leading to depressive ideation from heavy Subliminal Distraction for successive days, typically a week. This experimentally proves the psychiatric effect.
Examples are:
Suicide Joe Morse Georgia Tech's roommate sketch of their dorm room. (2)
The Finnish National Police picture of mass shooter/suicide Pekka-Eric Auvinen's bedroom computer set up. (3)
The bedroom computer set up for the Jamison family disappearance three deaths, Oklahoma. (4)
The picture of day trading computers and Stockbridge Ga. police statement for Mark Barton, Atlanta shooter. (5)
Seung-Hui Cho's suite-mate phone interview statements about his dorm-suite computer behavior. (6)
Redlake tribal school Jeff Weise's on-line journal entry describing his computer set up. (7)
FBI interview of witness #35 after the Michael Brown Ferguson shooting. (8)
Las Vegas Shooting page has illustrations. (9)
See the explanation
of how Subliminal Distraction contributes to Radicalization when it is
experienced as subliminal operant conditioning. (10)
Emails to officials involved have not sparked their investigation.
Every student and every home computer user should have this information.
Any article, even a doubting skeptical report of my 14 year project would get the discussion started.
This is not something you can look up on the Internet. Even though the basic facts are explained in first semester psychology, the mental break is rarely mentioned. All my instructor said was, "Subliminal sight caused a problem in the early days of modern office design."
You may have to find someone to dig it out of class
lecture material on peripheral vision reflexes, or find a Systems Furniture
design engineer who will talk about it.
(Subterfuge may be necessary. See the forum
discussion I had in December 2002 on an Architecture site linked in my Homepage
introduction.)
Perform the demonstration of the habituation of
conscious sight in peripheral vision to understand why visual subliminal
distraction cannot be consciously experienced as it happens in the mind below
thought, reason, and consciousness. Demo
Most site visitors are convinced when they perform my demonstration of subliminal sight and habituation of conscious sight in peripheral vision linked at the top of site pages. You will witness detected movement vanish, disappear from sight, while you observe it in peripheral vision. That's how exposure begins, then continues, happens subliminally, thus is UNDETECTABLE. The "Site Outline" page has the unrealized history of the phenomenon, my investigation methodology, and two places to verify the problem exists, believed harmless.
This demo tests the ability to suppress the vision startle reflex necessary for my successful experiment to cause depression. Some cannot suppress that reflex. They are immune from Subliminal Distraction caused psychiatric symptoms. If the movement does not vanish, have someone else perform the demo and report what happened
This site is
organized around stories of unexplained mental events where the
activity has the "special circumstances" for Subliminal
Distraction such as ICU Psychosis,
QiGong & Kundalini Yoga mental
breaks, LGATS mental breaks, and some
Culture Bound Syndromes.
Those pages redirect the site visitor back to the Home page.
No one would search for "visual subliminal distraction."
